Q – If you could have any film director make a video for one of your
songs, who would it be, and why?

Erik: Film director: Steven Spielberg, who else?

Ross: Tom Tykwer

Greg: Leni Riefenstahl

Q – What bands/musicians inspire you, not necessarily in their sound,
but in their careers/aesthetic/creative energies?

Erik: Musicians: Definitely GG Allin.

Ross: MC Chompers, KRMTX, Masaya Nakahara (aka Violent Onsen
Geisha)

Greg: Varg Vikernes

Q – What would you be doing with your free time if you weren’t in
TheCripples?

Erik: Free Time: I’d probably be in some other band that doesn’t make any
money.

Ross: Giant collage/art projects

Greg: I have 2 kids – I have no free time

Q – What is on your turntable/cd player at home right now?

Erik: Turntable: A thick layer of dust.

Ross: “5” disc changer: Michael Yonkers, Hair Stylistics (aka Violent Onsen
Geisha), Naked Raygun, Barry 7’s Connectors (rare 60’s/70’s french synth stuff) and, uh, New Order
– the new luck toy side of the split single test pressing is on my
turntable

Greg: “Mal Hombre” by Lydia Mendoza

Q – Any upcoming recordings/tour info to look forward to?

Erik: Upcoming: The new cd and tour! Coming sometime in the next five
years!

Ross: split single in Sept. new album is done – mixed, artwork, everything.
who knows when it will be out?

Greg: 2 songs on a split single with New Luck Toy on Dirtnap (out probably
the end of September, beginning of October).

Q – If you could rid the world of one “pet peeve” of yours, what
would it be?

Erik: Pet Peeves: Those hobo hats. Those are dumb.

Ross: um

Greg: I would want to change too many things, so I would be better off
leaving everything exactly how it is.
