Hey Kiddies, Live Eye Tv is here with a new season, and that means, of course, new episodes of noisey rock beauty!! Don’t miss us every second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm on SCAN TV channels 77/29 in Seattle, Washington, or catch our newest shit right here on the net.

This season we kick it off with “former” (pleeease don’t leave us) hometown heroes, Big Business. Jared and Coady are big stars now, and live in Hollywood when they’re not traveling the world or helping out a little rock band called, The Melvins. If you love the scuzzy side of Low End (just drums and bass here) put on your Blueblookers, here comes the cheese!! Also, on the episode Whitey McConnaughy‘s new video for the song, “It Is Us” by old school favs, Mudhoney. Shot at Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland this video brings you the trials and tribulations of a poor doughnut lovin’ slob like you…just kidding, your not a slob-you just love your treats…and Mudhoney.

This month we continue our gruelling efforts to bring you the newest and hottest, cause that’s just the way we do it, and it ain’t much hotter than Japanese rock monsters, Boris. Southern Lord Records continues to bring out the finest dark metal, and Boris is a fuckin’ gem. Combining brilliant instrumentation with massive, inspired song structures this band wowed the States on their recent visit. We caught this performance at Neumos on October 27th of 2005!

Speakin of hot, The Social Registry, an awesome label out of NYC, has a slew of outstanding artists, and this month we bring you the new video for “Reunite on Ice” by Blood on the Wall. This three piece consisting of Courtney and Brad Shanks (yes, really brother and sister here) and with Miggy Littleton on drums bring everything that was perfect about every great 90’s band, and roll it up into a crumpled ball of flannel and torn jeans on your bedroom floor. Yeah, I said flannel.

And finishing things off this month underground legends, Earth. This band, with a little help from Southern Lord Records, has single-handedly revived/spawned an awesome musical movement of dark, minimal metal drones, as maybe best evidenced by the work of Earth emmulators, SUNN 0))). Dylan Carlson of Earth, has continued to hone the directions of the early work such as the “Extra Capsular Extraction” Ep and the album “Earth 2”, and in doing so the music has evolved further into dark and mysterious “old west” guitar meditations. This amazing music was captured in Seattle at The Sunset Tavern, and video tweaking was added by The Head Cutz Crew.
