On February 2nd, German-born electronic artist Ulrich Schnauss will release his fourth LP, A Long Way To Fall, on Domino Records. In talking about the new album, Schnauss has said he wanted to, “…record an album that would celebrate the synthesizer as the very capable musical instrument that it is, but without the need to disguise it behind a wall of echo and reverb.” To get a preview of the record, check out the new video for the track “A Ritual in Time and Death”. Filmed by Anastasija Nikitina & Nat Urazmetova, the video features striking shots of dancer Denisas Kolomyckis on a vast plateau, high above a distant valley.
