The Haxan Cloak is back with mesmerizing ambience on this new track “The Mirror Reflecting (Part 2)”, which will be on his up-coming Tri Angle Records debut, Excavation, due out April 15th internationally, and April 30th in the States. Bobby Krlic, the multi-instrumentalist behind the project, crafts crepuscular, meticulously recorded soundscapes. For his debut, 2011’s self-titled The Haxan Cloak, Krlic spent three years patiently recording in a shed at the bottom of his parent’s home in Wakefield, Yorkshire, to create a stunning “soundtrack [for] a character’s journey towards death”. For Excavation, Krlic relocated to London two years ago to begin work on this intimately recorded album. Full of quiet details and captivating sonics, Excavation represents the next stage in his character’s journey, and as “The Mirror Reflecting (Part 2)” shows, we’ve entered the astral realms!
