The Victims were a punk band from Perth, Western Australia, active in the neighborhood of 1977-79. In 1978, they released a 5 song EP titled No Thanks To The Human Turd on the 1977 Records label. A great batch of rough, sometimes heavily distorted punk songs limited to 500 pressed copies. Even though these guys never reached the success or wider audience of their Aussie counterparts like Radio Birdman or even The Saints, a cultish following has built up around the No Thanks To The Human Turd EP. Nowadays, the EP can fetch upwards of 400 to 500 bucks. 1977 Records will again press another 500 copies with all the original artwork, and on colored vinyl. The whole record can be streamed below:
