UK electronic producer Lapalux teams up with LA rapper Busdriver for the track “Forlorn“. While Lapalux’s debut Nostalchic comes out March 26th via Brainfeeder, this promotional track won’t be on the new album, but is available as a free or name-your-price download. You might say opposites attract on “Forlorn”, as Lapalux’s gauzy, meditative tones are quickly hijacked by Busdriver’s verbally unhinged, rapid fire linguistics. The arrangement for the track follows an inventive path utilizing Lapalux’s soulful atmospherics and Busdriver’s surreal vocal barrages to slide and flow with each other, before giving way to a dreamy, blue sky, free fall! Lapalux has all kinds of live dates in the UK and Europe coming up this Spring and Summer, so check them out below.
