Have a look at photos of Thurston Moore’s new band Chelsea Light Moving performing at The Earl in Atlanta, Ga on March 7th. The band’s current line-up is lead by Sonic Youth founder Thurston Moore and it includes Samara Lubelski, Keith Wood, and John Moloney. This night had the band playing heavy, sometimes jangly, dissonant rock that gave big nods to the punk and metal sounds that influenced the early days of Sonic Youth. The band is back on the road, after a dizzying SXSW schedule, to finsh their U.S. tour. After the photos, take a glance at their remaining performance dates with the likes of the Brooklyn duo Talk Normal. as well as Chicago’s Cave.
