Fans of dark wave will definitely want to check out Montreal’s Police Des Moeurs take on it. The four piece will release their Les m�canismes de la culpabilit� 12″ in a limited run of 250 pure white vinyl copies May 20th, via the French label Atelier Ciseaux. The EP opens with this gorgeous jewel, “�ch�ance“, with it’s analog synth sound and monastic vocals creating a cold wave nostalgia, but balanced by muscular, techno-infused bass and drum lines that bring a very extroverted vibe to what might otherwise retreat into a haze of beautiful sorrow and langourus recrimination.
