On Saturday, July 13th, Sub Pop will celebrate 25 years of sonic awesomeness by hosting a free showcase of bands, art, and booze (not free), down in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood! Details are still emerging with the label’s Silver Jubilee missive explaining, “…we are fairly certain there will be some combination of… Actual live bands, playing actual live music! Some sort of art-related something or other! Like, in a gallery space, we’re thinking! A record fair-type event!…” You get the picture, the facts are still coming together here, so we will stay posted.
