More from the Detroit musician/producer Shigeto this week. In anticipation of his August 19th/20th LP No Better Time Than Now (Ghostly International), the artist has released his second single, Ringleader” off the up-coming record. Zachary Saginaw hits it out of the proverbial ball park on this new cut.
Imagine finding yourself ship wrecked on a gorgeous tropical island. Washing up on the beach, you’re soon greeted by the welcoming sound of marimbas as an amicable tribe emerges from the dense foliage to greet you. The party goes on all day and by nightfall you find yourself reclining on the warm sand to watch the Milky Way ooze dreamy nectar while your new found Island friends dance by firelight. Things coulda’ ended up much worse. Good thing you brought Shigeto along for the ride!
