Kurt Vile learns it can suck being King For A Day in Tom Scharpling‘s new video for “KV Crimes“. Oh sure, people pander to your every need and you can eat Philly cheesesteaks off a golden platter, but where’s the soul in it, man? In a hilarious case of life imitating art, and I had to make sure I was reading this one correctly, seems that by mayoral decree August 28th will be Kurt Vile Day in Philadelphia. Mr. Vile will give a free solo concert in the City Hall Courtyard at 5:30 pm to close out the City Hall Presents summer concert series.
