New video from Sic Alps this week for “Biz Bag“, which is off the band’s current 12” release, She’s On Top (Drag City). Looks like the Alps are working to complete a video trifecta, one for each of the tracks on the new 12″, and William Francis-Bashore Keihn returns to direct this 60’s-styled number. Keihn matches the record’s vintage feel with 8mm film and a great Pop Art sensibility. A colorful bunch of balloons play the starring role as we see snippets of random people on the street holding the bunch, or the balloons blowing in the wind as they hang out the window of a classic mini-coupé-all collaged with images and poster art from the period and the balloon’s day-glo colors…Well, with two videos down, looks like “Carrie Jean” will be next, and the good word from Drag City says we should look for that to happen in the next couple of weeks! Also, Sic Alps are getting set to tour Europe later this summer, and they kick things off in Italy at the end of June. You can check the dates out below…
