Smith Westerns‘ new LP Soft Will came out this week on Mom+Pop, and earlier this month we sampled the highly rarified power-pop of “Idol“, off the newest. Today, the band released the video for the track directed by Sandy Kim, which might go some distance to confirm that, yes, indeed, Smith Westerns are some fried-out party zombies! But, then, we’d expect no less from three guys who smartly skipped out on college to form a rock band. Smith Westerns head out next month for a bunch of US tour dates, so don’t miss them below.
