Seattle noise rockers Monogamy Party are one of the cities more uncompromising bands live! Kennedy, the group’s vocalist, is the kind of performer who seems to revel in confrontation, often shirtless with random marker scrawl on his body, sweating, spitting, and ranting up a storm. His band backs him up with a kind of fierce and caustic punk that mixes elements of hardcore and noise to agitate and antagonize, while creating a live experience that always teeters on the edge of chaos! For their up-coming LP False Dancers, Kennedy, bassist Yos-wa, and drummer Keith are joined by the guitarist simply known as Ricky. Monogamy Party recorded their new album this past spring with Austin Thomason (Pleasureboaters) out in Granite Falls, using his mobile Mt. Plyushkin Studios, and we can look forward to the record on September 17th via Seattle’s Good To Die Records.
