Last week we took a listen to the punky, jangle-pop of “Bootlegs“, the new single from the Auckland, NZ band Ghost Wave, and today we have their video for the track directed by Stuart Page. Filmed in Christchurch, the video follows the exploits of an old nutter, and makes interesting use of the leftover earthquake damage to create striking and stark imagery. The band’s debut LP Ages comes out in the US on August 27th via Flying Nun, and it will be the label’s first release since they joined forces with Captured Tracks! Ghost Wave will return to tour the States in October, and they will play the Culture Collide Festival in Los Angeles, and the CMJ Music Marathon in New York. Word is, dates will be announced soon!
