Cuntz are four scum bags from Melbourne, and on Solid Mates (Homeless Records) they make the kind of knuckle draggin’ racket we love! This is the band’s second release of 2013, and the follow-up to their Aloha LP, which also came out on Australia’s Homeless Records. Raw boredom broils over into a pus-y mess on this new one, and fans of Seattle’s Constant Lovers or Good To Die Records, bands like Pissed Jeans or Metz, or more ancient denizens of the once again vaunted pig fuck sound like Flipper or Angry Samoans, will be right at home(less) here! Careening outta the gate on their new LP, the band brandishes their “Third World Attitude“, taking an agonizing piss on gentility and all things PC, as they slop thru some sludgy and nearly blacked-out noisecore. Other notables include “Dog“, a forty-four second homage to a beer and a shag with the immortal line “Baby, I wanna work your f-u-c-king dog”, “‘Action“, a lil’ ditty about everyone’s favorite hobby, “Hammer” a barely articulate track on the verge of vomiting, or “Beef Week” a squealing, slow motion BBQ of a cut…but, luckily we can report everything here stinks like dirty band-aides!
