New Video: Camel Heads “The River”

Fans of instrumental psych with some seriously baked ambience should put Sao Paulo, Brazil’s Camel Heads on their audio itinerary! The band’s upcoming LP Anoluz is due out October 22nd via Captcha Records, and in anticipation, today we check out the video for “The River“, as well as the track “Camel Heads“, streaming now on Bandcamp. Camel Heads is the solo audio and art project for a Brazilian gentleman who seems to go simply as Bruno. He cites “North African desert blues” and Neil Young‘s Dead Man as influnces, and Sun Araw‘s home cooked guitar dubs might also provide another valuable reference point as you head far up the river towards that mystical heart of darkness! Joshua Rogers of Broken Machine Films provides the highly effected visuals for “The River”, creating haunting, lo-res organics using a “tachyons+ vortex decoder switcher and various other video manipulation equipment”. Don’t miss the Bandcamp preview of “Camel Heads” after the video…
