For their early 2013 release Noctuary (Sacred Bones), The Holydrug Couple‘s Ives Sepúlveda and Manuel Parra converted a small house in their hometown of Santiago, Chile into their own studio to record and produce the new album themselves. Today, the band released a video for the track “It’s Dawning“, the album’s warm and dreamy closer, and it’s no wonder they choose the stunning scenery of Chile for the backdrop. In the video, we see the band set-up in their home studio performing the track, playing fetch with the dog in an elaborate grave yard, gliding across a giant lake towards sunset aboard a fast paced motorboat, and much more! Directed by Nicolás Molina and José Ignacio Alonso, the video definitely conjures up the mildly psychoactive, night beach sonics of “It’s Dawning”.
