Julia Holter‘s third LP Loud City Song is out now on Domino, and today we have the new video for “This Is A True Heart“, directed by Eugene Kotlayrenko. Holter stars in this sapphic spy thriller as a conflicted “hacktavist” torn between duty and personal conviction. Shot in LA’s port district and at the Bonaventure hotel, Kotlayrenko reaches for a cinematic style that’s not quite attained, though casting “This Is A True Heart” as a spy thriller is a nice touch!
