Oneohtrix Point Never has a new video offering this week for “Still Life (Betamale)” off his upcoming LP R Plus Seven due out October 1st via Warp Records. Daniel Lopatin continues to team up with a variety of artists for some very interesting media experiments in advance of the upcoming album, and while “Still Life (Betamale)” is not a cross-platform offering like “Zebra” or “Problem Areas,” Jon Rafman‘s video uses a variety of media formats to explore issues of obsession and voyeurism.
Rafman’s images draw from various internet subcultures, and in “Still Life (Betamale)” the world wide web is made to ooze its teaming id as we watch furries frolic, strange suicidal panty sniffers, and soiled computers in a video that even YouTube and Vimeo had to pull.
