More from Dahga Bloom this week as the band continues to release a video for each cut on their upcoming LP No Curtains, due out on Captcha Records later this year. It looks like “Born To Be Brown” recycles old Bollywood footage of a disco dance off, and, amazingly, the over saturated, silk clad bodies seem to gyrate and shimmy in perfect synch with the space trash groove Dahga Bloom lays down! Wondering what this track might be about? Well, in the band’s recent Facebook post about “Born To Be Brown”, we find this parenthetical explanation, “(My friends call me whitexican)”. Got it! While you’re at it, don’t forget to check out some of the band’s other offerings from the upcoming record like “Wampum“, “Supa“, and “Space Is The Place“.
