ERAAS will release their sophomore album Initiation on November 12th via Felte Sounds, and the new work is currently streaming from the label’s Soundcloud page! ERAAS create extraordinarily hermetic work, and it’s slowly uncoiling cinematic qualities are well-suited to a Long Player format. Particular attention has been paid by the Brooklyn duo to make sure these tracks drift without reprieve, from scene to scene like a dream you keep returning to, and, as their self-titled debut was, ERAAS’ music continues to be deeply haunted by the very personal ghosts of the subconscious. On Initiation, Robert Toher and Austin Stawiarz weave masterful atmospherics and noir, industrial beatscapes, while Toher’s delicate, high register vocals lead chimera-like thru mysterious doors and down dark, winding corridors.
