LA chanteuse and Soundcloud maven Carol Rhyu returns with her project White Blush, and this week she teamed up with producer DJ Mike Gomexxx on this new track, “Wish“. Ms. Rhyu stays busy, and when last we heard from the artist she was collaborating with the Italian musician and producer Go Dugong, for a dance-friendly remix of her track “Jolene“, which originally appeared on her 2013 White Blush EP. When asked about the new cut “Wish“, Rhyu explained: “I’ve never met DJ Gomexxx. We met virtually when I heard the track he wrote, I begged him to let me sing over it and then he let me. I bet he’s a cool guy!” Indeed! On “Wish”, DJ Gomexxx provides some tranced out electro-pop vibes, with some serious psychedelic wobble, and Rhyu’s compositional sense tunes right into what Gomexxx has laid down, allowing her to deliver well-placed vocal contributions that really complete this track!
