On November 3rd, electronic composer Daniel Lopatin (aka Oneohtrix Point Never) and video artist Nate Boyce performed R Plus 6/Affect Index at MoMA PS1’s VW Dome in Long Island City, Queens. Today we check out a short clip from that session. The multi-media collaboration finds Lopatin juggling liminal orchestral blasts and interruptions of audio from his Warp Records debut R Plus 7 as Boyce follows his stops and starts with a video collage of strange, digitized commercial ephemera, crawling text, and infomercial-like interludes.
Oneohtrix Point Never has just kicked off series of select live dates that will find him playing in Europe and the US thru February of next year, so check them out below.
