Wymond Miles stellar LP Cut Yourself Free is out now on Sacred Bones, and today we have a new video from the artist for the track “Night Drives“. Directed by Ryan Browne, the video features green-screened images of the impossibly coiffed Mr. Miles singing and dancing in front of solarized and exploding cosmic landscapes. Cut Yourself Free will be the artist’s sophomore LP release, and like it’s predecessors, the Under the Pale Moon LP and the Earth Has Doors EP, the guitarist for Fresh & Onlys has once again recorded, produced, and played everything for his new record. “Night Drives” finds Miles mostly putting the guitar aside to explore some vintage synth territory, and using a cool-to-the-touch and modern sonic veneer, with a romantic vocal delivery that at times brings to mind Robert Smith or Brian Ferry, the artist has created a perfect, electric blue, synth-pop mood here!
