The Seattle goth trio Grave Babies released a new video this week for their track “Pain Cycle,” directed by Jordan Utley. Eerie atmospheres abound as a young woman is awakened in the middle of the night by spectral images on her haunted television. Utley uses an excellent noir sense and meticulously chosen filmic shots to cast just the right amount of mystery to the uncanny goings-on. here. It’s a great match for the kind of hair-raising and crepuscular sonics that Grave Babies trade in!
