Radar Men From The Moon are a psych trio out of Eindhoven, NL, and on their new track “Surrealist Appearance” they mix their Kraut rock leanings with a heavy dose of Shoegazes’ “wall of sound” sonics, creating a real majestic, interstellar ripper! The band finds Glenn Peeters on guitar, Jan-Titus Verkuijlen on bass, and Tony Lathouwers on drums, and while they are reportedly readying their Strange Wave Galore LP for release January 30th via Fuzz Club Records, the band also have two previously self-released works, 2011’s Intergalactic Dada & Space Trombones, as well as 2012’s Echo Forever. In anticipation of their new record, the trio has also just released a video for the track “Surrealist Appearance”, directed by the artist Iris Donker, and, in it, she composites slowly mutating astral scree over images of what appears to be a strange aquatic life form matriculating thru it’s underwater environment. Or, is that some kind of bio-organic space craft scouting the darkside of the moon? Anyways, you be the judge!
