New Video: The Body “To Carry The Seeds Of Death Within Me”

The Body delivers one of their most grisly and disturbing video offerings yet, with “To Carry the Seeds of Death Within Me“, off their upcoming April 1st LP I Shall Die Here, which is due out on RVNG Intl. Directed by Richard Rankin, the miscreant responsible for some of duo’s recent horror vids like “Shrouded” and “An Alter Or A Grave“, this newest video continues to blur the lines between documentary and fiction, while using a gory, slow building scene of self-torture to truly terrifying ends. If self-inflicted lobotomies delivered in a faux-realist style isn’t your thing, I wouldn’t add this to your YouTube Watch Later list, but for fans of the Death Grips‘ videos, films by Harmony Korine, or something like Chris Cunningham‘s Rubber Johnny, this should jive quite nicely with your seedy, snuff-film tastes! On I Shall Die Here, Lee Buford and Chip King have teamed up with Bobby Krlic of the Haxan Cloak, and though he works in a more “electronic” style, his grave haunting tendencies offer the perfect substrate for re-animating The Body’s monstrous, sonic corpus.
