Five years ago David Lynch created an animated video for Moby’s track “Shot In the Back of the Head“, and today Moby exchanges the favor with a remix and video for Lynch’s track “The Big Dream“, featuring gorgeous vocals from Mindy Jones. The new video was also shot by Moby, and Ms. Jones is featured prominently in ghostly black and white with a strangely masked retinue of characters haunting the back shadows. Flickering visuals provide the perfect hypnogogic mood for this even more dreamy reworking of “The Big Dream”, which is here slowed and slurred to a narcoleptic pace, with Jones’ seductive vocals providing the perfect shade of night for this crepuscular track.
