Today we check out the new video for the Com Truise track “Subsonic” off his Wave 1 EP out now on Ghostly International. Created by the video artist Hans Lo, “Subsonic” generates an 80’s-style sci-fi feel using some very cool animation and motion graphics. The video opens with scrolling lines of cryptographed text, before we are introduced to it’s shadowy protagonist, maybe Truise himself, learning of how he’s operated on an “almost permanent adrenaline high” as he projects himself into the consensual hallucination that is the source! Hans Lo goes onto choreograph arrays of animated visuals, following the track thru it’s various space-age corridors and compartments, while introducing us to pulsating visuals that include 3-dimensional grids of 8-bit graphics, and various other “poly” and anthropomorphic structures.
