The UK quartet Silver Arm have an excellent four-song 10″ out now on Big Tea Records called He of the Slow Creep, and today we take a look at the band’s video for the title track. It mostly features Silver Arm vocalist Gareth Hughes, but his bandmates are also thrown into the mix with old World War II battle film, and shadowy close-ups of some hungry looking flies. “He of the Slow Creep” uses gritty black and white footage, with occasional bursts of color, eye-catching compositing, and some hyped-up visual effects to create a tense and dizzying mood that is right in step with this tracks’ paranoia-inducing, post-punk sonics! If you live in the UK you can catch Silver Arm live this coming spring and summer, as the band has a few select dates planned. Check ’em out after the video embed!
