Castle Face Records returns with another installment from it’s killer Live In San Francisco series, and this one features Austin’s monsters of garage punk, OBN IIIs. This set was recorded live at the SF venue Chapel last October, as the band kicked off a tour with Thee Oh Sees, and it finds them ultra primed to instigate their sonic mayhem, and, um, face touching! For those yet to experience OBN IIIs, this live cut of “If the Shit Fits“, off their recently released Third Time To Harm (Tic Tac Totally) LP, is the perfect place to start, as it finds frontman Orville Bateman Neeley III at his garrulous best, engaging the crowd at every turn with his irrepressible banter, while the band performs an absolute ear shredding of boozed-out garage blues!
