Clipping.‘s “Body & Blood“, off the LA trio’s self-titled LP out now on Sub Pop, is a viscerally gritty and unrelenting track, so it’s only fair that it receive an equally challenging visual counter-part. Today we check out the uncensored Vimeo version of the cut, directed by Patrick Kennelly, and it features the group’s rapper Daveed Diggs, alongside Sasha Venn as the song’s femme fatale, in her blood colored sun glasses and black lipstick. Alternating between single and multi-frame screens, the video also presents various unclothed male and female performers, and their tense, corporeal forms seem to represent various states between physical agony and ecstasy, as they gyrate and twerk to “Body & Blood”‘s rough sonic drilling!
