The Atlanta-based electronic label CGI Records travels to Detroit to bring you Shady P‘s “The Edge Play Mix“, and it’s available for FREE download! Shady P, one of the Motor City’s hot upcoming DJs and producers, is also part of Detroit’s F.A.M.E. collective, and he helps to run the dance label How To Kill. In addition, the artist will also appear alongside his cohort The Friend, for an upcoming release scheduled for August 20th on the Berlin-based DJ Kris Wadsworth‘s new label, Breed. For CGI’s 6th edition of their mix series, which clocks in at just over an hour, Shady explores a real late night, underground party vibe, and while there’s no track list here, he has this to say about the collection, “I dont usually play that housey”.
