Touring in support of their self-titled LP out now on Partisan Records, the Leeds-based post-punk band Eagulls recently made a stop at The Earl in Atlanta, GA. Once again, Live Eye Tv was in the house to snap up a few shots from this sweaty, revved-up performance. On this night, singer George Mitchell lead the band through a set of hook-laden, tensely coiled songs. Sounding somewhere between Ian Curtis and Iceage vocalist Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, Mitchell‘s voice continually soared beyond the band’s clanging, abrasive sound. After the photos, you can have a look at the video for “Possessed“, off Eagull’s recent release, as well as a list of their upcoming tour dates.
