Check out photos from Priests recent stop at WonderRoot in Atlanta, Ga. The Washington D.C.-based punk band was wrapping up a summer tour in support of their newest split release Bodies and Control and Money and Power off Don Giovanni/SisterPolygon. Lead by Katie Alice Greer, who is at her most commanding when teetering on the edge between chaos/control, Priests tore through a set that fell somewhere between raw, 90’s-era riot grrrl and the mutant surf riffs of The Cramps. After the photos, you can check out Priests performing “Doctor” live at D.C.’s Wilderness Bureau, as well as the track “New” in Brooklyn at the now defunct 285 Kent performance space.
