UK electronic producer Lee Gamble will release his Kuang EP later this month, as well as the 2xLP KOCH (pronounced “cotch”) on September 12th, both via the PAN label. Today we take a look at Gamble’s new video for “Mimas Skank“, the second cut off this month’s upcoming EP. The video is directed by Dave Gaskarth, and it features beat triggered animations of various geometric and abstractly shaped digital renderings, and while many of the black and white patterns are reminiscent of vintage 8-bit computer imagery, which ties nicely with “Mimas Skank”‘s minimalist, experimental vibe, it’s hyper-responsiveness to the track’s shifting palette of underground rhythms, as well as their detail and complexity, definitely make it a future-forward venture!
