Last week we took a listen to the upcoming Roladex/((PRESSURES)) split 7″, due out via Medical Records/ Disko Obscura on September 25th, so today let’s look at the new Roladex video for “Glass Statuette“, off the split. Produced by Chris Skinner, the video artist behind Severed Heads‘ “Exploring The Secrets Of Treating Deaf Mutes”, here he uses a smattering of art damaged visuals, compositing found footage of 80’s-era luxury cars, images of the band’s Elyssa Dianne and Tyler Jacobsen, (along with a small collection of their trusty, vintage synths), some creepy statuettes, and a plastic, life-size doll–achieving a real Beta-vision on DMT kind of feel!
