UK producer Stuart Howard‘s project Lapalux returns from an 18 month hiatus with the genre-bending offering “Movement I, II & III“, available now via Brainfeeder. All kinds of distances are covered here, as Howard seems to push his creativity far and wide, while still maintaining his trademark aplomb for urban ambience, moody vocal samples, and deep, bass-rooted sonics. Rolling between different neighborhoods with it’s tinted windows at half mast, this track watches the city go by from behind dark glass in it’s more ambient stretches, including a middle passage that is entirely beatless, before breaking out into an erotically charged, slinky and low riding funk!
