Falty DL‘s new album In The Wild is out now on Ninja Tune, and today the artist released quite the hi-tech video for the album’s second track, “New Haven“. Directed by Blair Neal and Kyle McDonald, the pair pulled out all the stops here, using drone cameras to capture dizzying heights above Brooklyn, high speed cameras for the video’s intimate, slow motion shots, Lumia projection to achieve psychedelic visuals, as well as attempting to use the Schlieren Imaging technique to capture “minor variations in air temperature and pressure”. While the later method wasn’t quite successful, according to Neal and McDonald in their recent interview with The Creators Project, the duo has still created a stunning visual experience quite in keeping with “New Haven”‘s mysterious, dream-like atmosphere…
