LA musician and motorcycle mechanic Nick Koenigs returned this week with his Filthy Huns project, releasing the Leopard On My Right via Not Not Fun. “Ancient Hell” rolls one for the road while setting it’s blunted sights on a midnight ride thru Death Valley. Initially the track strikes a Suicide vibe with busted drum machine beats and chugging organ drone, but it’s dusty desert guitar lines and road trance vocals go on to bear more of a resemblance to Cameron Stallones‘ work as Sun Araw. Leopard On My Right is a cassette release limited to only 100 copies and it features rad art & design from Eric Carlson and Chris Hontos. Easy ridin!
