Peaking Lights have a new graphically inspired video for “Everyone And Us” out today. Directed by the video artist/designer Robbie Simon, whose bold and colorful Pop style is on full display here, the video animates an array of op-art inspired images, surreal, childlike cutouts full of licking tongues, dripping faucets and other playfully suggestive shapes, as well as rotoscoped versions of the band’s husband and wife duo, Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis. The result has a very hands-on, organic feel to it, and it’s day-glo mood is the perfect accompaniment to this track’s bright-eyed, Tom Tom Club-influenced dub. You can find “Everyone and Us” on Peaking Lights new LP Cosmic Logic, out now via Weird World. The duo kicks off their European tour tomorrow night in London, so check out the dates after the video…
