London’s post-punk quartet Silver Arm return with their brand new digital-only single “Scatterbrainzz“. Leon Forde‘s jagged, snarling guitar sets the pace here, as he and bassist Tom Answer lock horns for a little go around the mosh pit, while vocalist Gareth Hughes presides over the riot with strident tones and his strychnine howl. Using post-punk’s angular musical structures, with grunge’s gritty low end, the band’s ability to build tight passages of tension and release on this track, reveal that “release” is just the beginning of some new building tension! “Scatterbrainzz” is the follow-up to Silver Arm’s excellent 2014 EP, He of the Slow Creep, and it will be available digitally on November 17th via Big Tea Records.
