Listen: prints_ “Ghosts”

White Blush‘s Carol Rhyu teams up with fellow LA musician Keil Corcoran of Starfucker for this noir-shaded synth-pop cut, “Ghosts“. Some of our favorite White Blush tracks, like “Wish” and “Neptune“, have also featured collaborative hook-ups with musicians such as DJ Mike Gomexxx and Art Torres, so it’s no accident that Rhyu and Corcoran have found fertile ground as prints_. On “Ghosts”, elegant, dream tinted synth lines intertwine to form a textured melody over a syncopated throb of kick drum, while mechanized percussive ticks wind out at varying speeds. Meanwhile, veiled in layers of mist, Rhyu’s moon-lit vocals are the perfect addition, casting a somnolent spell haunted by memory and ethereal visitation across this lunar leaning track.
