After months of waiting in bated anticipation, and one premature tease streaming this past December, Sleater-Kinney‘s No Cities to Love is out today on Sub Pop. So, let’s celebrate with this star-studded video for the title track, as well as a full album stream of the record (not accidentally leaked this time, we hope!). Inviting their friends to sing along to “No Cities to Love” means you have quite the crew of musicians, actors, comedians, directors, and writers assembled here, as well as Sleater-Kinney themselves. In order of appearance, look for: Fred Armisen, Gerard Way, Brie Larson, Ellen Page, Natasha Lyonne, Andy Samberg, Connie Britton, Miranda July, Norman Reedus, Sarah Silverman, Evan Rachel Wood, J Mascis, Vanessa Bayer, Janet Weiss, Corin Tucker, and Carrie Brownstein.
While you’re at it, you can give the album a listen via this YouTube playlist. Not sure how long Sub Pop will make this available, so I wouldn’t waste anytime before giving it a play! Also, don’t forget to check out the band’s extensive winter/spring touring schedule listed after the embed. In fact, LA fans can catch Sleater-Kinney tonight at Origami Music for an in-store signing. Should be an absolute madhouse!
