Shlohmo‘s Dark Red LP is due out on April 7th via True Panther Sounds/WeDidIt. Last month we got a first taste with the track “Buried“, and today we have this new video for the cut. Directed by Lance Drake, the video’s initial abstract sequence, followed by long tracking shots thru a mysterious apartment, does an excellent job of drawing you into this griping and bloody psychodrama. Seeming to enact an agonizing circle of life and death, “Buried”‘s imagery of pregnancy and birth are imbued with an almost alien trauma here.
