Grave Babies have a new track entitled “Eternal (On & On)” off their Holographic Violence LP out July 24th via Hardly Art. Exploring themes of nihilism and apocalypse on the record, “Eternal (On & On)” combines sea sick guitars, pounding rhythms, and Wahlfeldt’s creepy layered vocals for a particularly tenebrous cut of industrial gloom.
Holographic Violence finds founding member Danny Wahlfeldt joined by drummer Mark Gajadhar (Blood Brothers, Past Lives), bassist Bryce Brown (Crypts), and keyboardist Claire Haranda. While previous LP efforts were recorded in Wahlfeldt’s basement, this time the musician has enlisted the help of Gajadhar, recording at the drummer’s studio on Orcas Island. The album was then mixed by esteemed local producer/engineer/musician Matt Bayles, with final mastering by Chris Common (Chelsea Wolfe, Mars Volta).
