Horse Lords have a new video for their gnarly, 10-minute opus, “Macaw“, off the band’s 2014 LP Hidden Cities, out now on NNA Tapes. Comprised of nine short segments contributed by various artists and musicians, many who hail from the Baltimore area, as well as the band’s own Max Eilbacher and Andrew Bernstein, means that this is quite the panoptical viewing experience, as these various styles and viewpoints are allowed to run in a serial fashion like some sort of short-attention span film fest! Standout sections include filmmaker Mary Helena Clark‘s opening, which features a small collection of After Effected Boy Wonders, James Thomas Marsh‘s later segment, featuring strangely refracted human figures put thru some serious Mirror Warp, as well as Eilbacher’s alien, 3-D world, made from what appears to be Jerry Garcia’s hairy image. Now that’s some pretty fine stuff!
