Prints_ returned last week with this new track “Vision“. The LA-based duo includes White Blush’s Carol Rhyu and Starfucker’s Keil Corcoran. When we last checked in with the pair this past January, we listened to their track “Ghosts“, as they were preparing a self-titled digital-only release for that month. “Vision” also appears on that collection, and it continues to demonstrate prints_ facility for cold wave-leaning synth pop. Here, marine layers of interlocking melody are punctuated by sensually tactile, muscular bass-lines, while Rhyu’s chilled and airy cantillations seem to echo from deep within a dream.
