Tint is the solo project of avant musician Zane Morris, who will release his three-track 12″ My New Murex on July 10th via True Panther Sounds. Today, we check out the artist’s new visuals for his track “Nine Notes“, off the upcoming effort. Created in conjunction with Eugene Kotlyarenko, and starring an unwitting butterfly and curious dog in an “uh-oh” backyard adventure, this video’s lo-fi imagery, and ability to capture a random but poignant moment, is the perfect backdrop for Tint’s home recorded guitar bliss-out!
The 3 tracks on My New Murex were recorded at Morris’ former residences in California, and laid to tape at Guacho’s Electronics with Facundo Bermudez in LA. TPS reports that this release will be limited to a one-time pressing of 300 copies, so fans of the outer fringes of psych will want to act fast, before they are all snatched up.
